Pack 113 had a fun time at the Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday 11/04.
Scouts had a special "behind the scene" tour of the Tropical Forest. They had several animal encounters, including the opportunity to interact with a Royal Python!
Pack 113 and Pack 200 held a joint Rocket Day event on Saturday 11/04.
Scouts (and parents) had a fun time! Over 100 rocket launches took place!
Scouts and parents had a really fun time climbing in the trees! The first day was raining, but that didn't stop 11 from climbing. It is hard to tell which group had more fun!
Pack 113 held their first overnight event of the year at Rocky Woods. Scouts worked on scout skills, made Smores and performed several campfire skits and songs. Everyone had fun and enjoyed spending the night in a tent they setup!
Scouts had a great time selling popcorn this past weekend!

Pack 113 collected 2 full boxes of food donations for the Medfield Food Pantry - a great opportunity for the scouts to help others in our town!
The 2017 Pinewood Derby World Championship was held in NYC, Times Square, on June 24th
The weather was rainy, but the Scouts were prepared with their backup location, the Marriott Marquis Hotel Ballroom!
7 Scouts from Medfield made the trip to attend the all day race event! All the scouts had a great time and all finished in the top half of their respective ranks and classes!
The event had over 400 racers from across the country, with some coming all the way from California. The event had over 100 volunteers to run and staff it.

The annual Pinewood Derby was held on Saturday January 28th.
The car designs and racing was exciting!
Scouts spent the night aboard the USS Salem.
Scouts from around the country raced in the Pinewood Derby World Championship in NYC on June 27th.
Scouts came as far as California and Florida to compete.
Medfield Pack 113 was well represented, with our scout finishing 4th in the Bear Class!
The race was held in the center of Times Square, right in front of Good Morning America. Scouts raced on one of two eight lane tracks.
As a Massachusetts based community organization, Pack 113 believes that discrimination goes against the values of Scouting and has no place in Scouting's future. Our pack welcomes Cub Scouts and families of all backgrounds.
